BEVERLY — Harbor Management Authority approves prior meeting minutes, tables promenade policy. Chair Paul Earl reported the capital fund will decline by approximately 70,000 dollars for upcoming projects, while Harbormaster Peter Dickman detailed recent incidents including an abandoned boat with 3,000 dollars in assessed fines and ongoing train bridge repairs through March. The Authority approved minutes from October 15, 2025 by vote of 6-0.
Members tabled a motion to develop promenade-reservation procedures pending input from the City Solicitor, and received proposals for commercial operations at Glover Wharf including a tiki boat and fishing camp. Dickman expressed interest in a 70,000-dollar electric engine retrofit pilot program that could position Beverly as a leader in electric boat technology.
