Beverly Zoning Board grants seven permits, continues four hearings. Chairperson Will Cosmas and three board members unanimously approved variances and special permits for seven applications ranging from a 1,000-square-foot accessory dwelling unit at 33 South Terrace to a five-unit residential development at 46 Federal Street, with the latter requiring columnar arborvitae screening. Four applications, including a contentious wireless tower proposal for 12 Tozer Road that drew more than 20 neighborhood residents in opposition, were continued to February hearings.

Two applicants withdrawn their applications without prejudice. The meeting lasted past midnight.
