Beverly Zoning Board approves six residential projects and variances

Beverly Zoning Board of Appeals unanimously approved six residential projects at its May 27 meeting. Will Cosmas, chairperson, led the board in granting variances for two accessory dwelling unit projects at 20 Roundy Street and 26 Vine Street and a historic preservation project at 824 Hale Street involving a 1701 house. Additional approvals included a special permit for a garage replacement at 6 Berkeley Avenue and variances for garages at 26 Mason Street and 820 Hale Street, though one application for a two-story garage at 140 Essex Street was continued to July 22, 2026.
