Appeals, Zoning Board of · Meeting of March 25, 2026

BEVERLY — Zoning Board of Appeals approves six residential applications in single meeting. The Beverly board unanimously granted five variances and special permits on March 25, including relief for accessory dwelling units, building additions, and carport construction, while continuing two applications to April 22 pending further neighbor outreach. Chair Will Cosmas and all four board members voted unanimously on each approved application, ranging from a waterfront extension at 68 Paine Avenue to a carport variance at 8 Upland Road.

The board deferred Albert Turner's 26 Mason Street ADU application after neighbors raised privacy concerns about the rear-facing structure.
