Community Preservation Committee · Meeting of March 19, 2026

Beverly Community Preservation Committee approves partial $72,812 payment for Girdler House generator. The committee voted 8-0 to authorize the disbursement, with Chair Derek Beckwith noting that National Grid gas line connection delays forced the approval contingent on a final report. The committee extended five project agreements, including the Gruppe Mural MOU to October 1, 2026, and Abbott Street ROW and Beverly Farms Fence MOUs to May 29, 2027, in a 7-0 vote.

The Holcroft Park Splashpad and Gillis Park Pavilion MOUs were extended to December 31, 2026, in an 8-0 vote. The CPC is reviewing Round 13 applications totaling $2.16 million against available funds of $2.41 million.
