City Council committee approves wild animal feeding restrictions

Beverly council committee restricts wild animal feeding in new ordinance. The Legal Affairs Committee voted unanimously to amend Chapter 117 of the city ordinance, prohibiting any person from intentionally feeding, baiting, or providing access to food to wild animals or birds on public or private land, with an exception for birds fed through bird feeders. Members Todd C.
Rotondo, Steven M. Crowley, and Matthew J. St.Hilaire cast the votes.
The committee also unanimously approved the reappointment of Timothy R. Creamer, 36 Appleton Avenue, as Constable.
