Beverly's top sale hits $1.3 million as two Lothrop Street deeds close in one month

BEVERLY -- Fifteen properties changed hands in Beverly over the past month, led by a $1,315,000 sale on Lothrop Street, according to deeds recorded at the Essex County (Southern District) Registry of Deeds.

MARKET OVERVIEW

The registry recorded 15 property transfers in Beverly between June 19 and July 18. Of those, 10 included a disclosed sale price, ranging from $419,000 to $1,315,000, with a median of $767,500. The remaining five transfers did not include a disclosed consideration amount. Fifteen recorded transfers in a four-week span is a moderate volume of activity by raw count, though with a third of deeds carrying no price, the full scope of dollar volume for the period cannot be determined from available data.

138 Lothrop St. sold for $1,315,000 on July 17, the highest-priced transaction of the period. Eugene Elbridge Fike III sold the property to Michael Hogan Jr.
