Beverly deed records show $2.18 million church sale, five family transfers awaiting price data

Beverly recorded 15 property transfers between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3. Ten carry a sale price so far, ranging from $600,000 to $2,178,000, with a median of $804,500; five await price data, typical of normal registry lag. The month's top sale was 35 Conant St. at $2,178,000, a former church property sold to Salem Mission Inc. Two units at 50 Balch St. also changed hands. Four transfers appear to be within-family trust or estate moves. The data shows a wide price spread but offers no basis, on its own, to characterize the market as favoring buyers or sellers.
