Beverly home sales split evenly across price tiers in early August

Fifteen Beverly properties sold between July 17 and Aug. 15, according to Essex County Registry of Deeds records. Nine sales disclosed a price, ranging from $256,000 to $1,250,000, with a median of $795,000. The top sale was 31 Ober St, Lot 5B, which sold for $1,250,000 on Aug. 14, moving from the Ruth A. Coogan Family Trust to Anne Marie La Bue. Disclosed prices split evenly across three tiers, three sales above $1 million, three between $500,000 and $1 million, and three under $500,000, while six of the 15 deeds recorded no price, several of which transferred property into a trust under the same owner's name.
