BEVERLY — Open Space & Recreation Committee discusses ongoing trail and park projects across six city wards. Chair David Alden-St. Pierre presided as the committee reviewed pending work including park rehabilitation at Balch, Obear, and Bartlett Gardens, nature trail development around Bartlett Gardens wetlands, and multiple improvements in Sally Milligan.
The Community Preservation Committee is holding approximately 530,000 dollars earmarked for open space, with the next funding cycle to begin in August or September. The committee approved prior minutes unanimously and adjourned after reviewing 2026 goals from the annual Open Space Plan.
