Beverly Legal Affairs committee votes 3-0 to recommend a deficit-study special committee. Composed of Todd C. Rotondo, Matthew J.

St.Hilaire, and Steven M. Crowley, the committee voted to recommend City Council approval of a temporary special committee to explore options for the town's 2027 forecasted budget deficit. The panel also held proposed amendments to Chapter 117-Animals regarding a five-foot bird feeder height requirement after residents testified that the standard would impose undue burden on existing installations; Danielle M.

Spang and Scott D. Houseman participated as the meeting transitioned to a Committee of the Whole format.
