Conservation Commission approves six Orders of Conditions for Beverly building projects

Conservation Commission · Meeting of May 19, 2026

Beverly Conservation Commission approves conditions for six residential and commercial projects. Chair Christine Bertoni led the review of permits that ranged from fence replacement to school building demolition and reconstruction at Glen Urquhart School. During review, Bertoni flagged a proposed addition at 5 Orchard Street as "an outlier," stating the project should not "be considered a precedent" for future riverfront development.
