Beverly approves coastal property work; six projects seek approval

Beverly Conservation Commission approves past work, continues six development hearings. The commission issued a Certificate of Compliance for work at 55 Abbott Street, clearing a deck rebuild, terrace, and steps completed about 15 years ago that met original permit requirements. Chair Christine Bertoni led a unanimous 5-0 vote approving the coastal property modifications.

The commission also held hearings on six new development projects including a Glen Urquhart School redesign and residential additions, continuing all to May 19 pending site walks and further review.
