Beverly Historic Districts Commission schedules February 4 site visit for demolition delay application. The six-member board, led by Chair William Finch, voted unanimously to approve prior minutes and agreed to solicit design quotes and bids for a $4,000 Essex Heritage Partnership Grant application for Beverly Powder House interpretive signage, due February 16. Member Emily Hutchings presented proposed Rules of Procedure amendments aligned with state law and enabling legislation; the Commission will review a clean copy at the February 25 meeting.
The Cabot-Rantoul Residential Neighborhood Historic Resource Survey consultant is targeting 110 properties between School and Federal Streets to update inventory records and identify vulnerable buildings in high-development areas.
