BEVERLY — Planning Board unanimously approved parking relief and extended McDonald's hours to 24-7. The board granted a special permit for a two-family home at 4 Linden Avenue, reducing required parking spaces from four to three and allowing two driveways closer than zoning ordinance permits. The Zoning Board of Appeals had previously approved the variance, and the Parking and Traffic Commission recommended approval.

The board also unanimously approved a modification allowing the McDonald's at 230 Elliott Street to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with drive-through-only overnight access. The modification, deemed minor by the board, extends hours originally limited to 6 a.m. to midnight under the 1998 site plan approval.
